About Carmen Sandiego
Carmen Isabela Sandiego is the protagonist of the long-running video game in the same name. However, Netflix picks it up and turns it to the original series starring Gina Rodriguez which will air in 2019. Carmen Sandiego is a criminal mastermind and the nemesis of the ACME Detective Agency, the organization which she used to work with before turning her back to the justice system and seek the darker path of her career. Despite making such a dim choice, there’s no certain reason why Carmen decides to join the underground world of crime. Some say she does it purely out of her own satisfaction, while other believe that she means harm to the society and her sole priority is to bring upon the destruction.
