Tapatio and Cholula are popular brands of hot sauce predominantly among Mexican American communities. While they both possess plenty of taste and pack a much-coveted spiciness, they are distinctly different from each other. Tapatio comes in around 3,000 Scoville Units and has an earthy and smoky flavor, while Cholula averages 1,000 to 2,000 Scoville Units with a smoky, nutty, and tangy flavor.
Tapatio and Cholula are both enjoyed by their patrons.
