Esmeralda, born Agnès, is a one of the main character in a famous French novel, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, by Victor Hugo.
Esmeralda is a beautiful French woman with Romani (commonly known as Gypsy) background, so she doesn’t share a common white skin with other girls, but rather have a honey-like color. Her seductive dancing, as well as her alluring beauty, attracts many men. Despite that, she’s generous and kind-hearted.
