Peppermint Patty and Marcie are two best friends who are the polar opposites of each other. Peppermint Patty is very dense in school, athletic, and light-hearted. Marcie is an intelligent student, unathletic, and serious. Their differences lead them to annoy each other, and despite never seeing one of them apologize when disagreements arise, they are always back to being friends the next day.
Peppermint Patty and Marcie may not have many similarities, but they will always have each other’s backs no matter what. They wear a green striped shirt, soccer shorts, sandals, and an orange shirt, chino shorts and white sneakers.
About Peppermint Patty and Marcie
Peppermint Patty’s real name is Patricia Reichardt. Her surname was not revealed until January 15, 1972. Marcie was first introduced as a camp attendee with Peppermint Patty in July 1971 even though her name was not yet revealed until October 11 of the same year.
