Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago are both brilliant officers of the law who are stationed over at Nine Nine in Brooklyn. But they approach their jobs quite differently. Amy is a stickler for rules and likes to keep everything organized, the quintessential teacher’s pet. Jake, on the other hand, is opposite. He’s very laid back, disorganized, and is not a huge fan of rules.
Amy’s outfit is a good representation of her serious personality and she wears a smart black blazer with black slacks. Jake is more unconventional and casual with his black leather jacket, plaid shirt, and black pants.
About Amy Santiago and Jake Peralta
As far as being officers of the law, both Jake and Amy are amazing. It’s their personalities that differ greatly.
Amy Santiago was portrayed by Melissa Fumero. Fumero is also known for her roles in All My Children, One Life to Live, and I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell.
