About Schuyler Sisters
The Schuyler Sisters are composed of Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, Angelica Schuyler Church, and Peggy Schuyler Van Rensselaer. They are historical figures immortalized by the hit musical Hamilton.
Elizabeth, or Eliza, was the wife of America's founding father, Alexander Hamilton. Her sister, Angelica, was a socialite who left her life for Europe to marry her husband, John Barker Church. Lastly, Peggy, was the third daughter of their family and maintained a platonic relationship with Alexander.
