Dolores Umbridge might arguably be the most hated character in the Harry Potter series, even surpassing the series’ main villain, Lord Voldemort. That’s because she is extremely prejudiced to her beliefs to the detriment of the people around her, most alarmingly her students. Umbridge’s evil is very realistic (unlike Voldemort’s) and can be considered more chilling because of it.
