Draco was a snotty, little spoiled brat growing up. He was taught that he was better than the rest because of his blood status and wealth. It doesn’t help that he’s a big bully as well.
But when push came to shove, Draco made choices that unwittingly saved the wizarding world (and that’s what matters!). So what if he became a Death Eater for self-preservation? He can’t be blamed for that!
In the movie, Draco doesn’t have a problem wearing muggle clothes and looks very dashing in his all black ensemble.
