He is a Blacklist Hunter and a member of the high council of the Hunter Association (Zodiac Twelve), comprising twelve top Hunters with recognized skills.

Kurapika has genius-level intellect and is very proficient with his finger chains that he can conjure out of thin air. He wears a special set consisting of an inner white long-sleeve shirt and white pants with an outer blue vest and a long blue skirt with yellow and gold trims, blue slip-on slippers, a special five-ring bracelet chain, and a pair of red crystal drop earrings.
