About Jackie Moon
Jackie Moon is the lead character in the sports film Semi-Pro. It is a sports-comedy film starring Will Ferrell as Moon. He plays as a singer who eventually bought his American Basketball Association team, the Flint Tropics, and acted as the owner, coach, and player.
In danger of being kicked out from the league after the NBA and ABA merger, he set his goals for his team to be the best in the league. After a series of antics and events, Jackie Moon was offered a spot as one of the staff for the NBA's assistant commissioner (as a marketing officer).
