Crimson Ghost is the main villain in the 1946 American film serial The Crimson Ghost. He is determined to steal a gadget that can leave electrical devices powerless. His image has become a pop-culture icon after the punk rock band Misfits made use of his skull-like features in their promotional flyers in 1979, and afterwards succeedingly being adapted as silkscreen T-shirt image, album cover, mascot, and logo by the band throughout their career.
The Crimson Ghost is both sinister and mysterious. He wears a long-sleeved black shirt, black pants, black shoes, a black robe cloak, skeleton gloves, and a Crimson Ghost mask.
