How to make Luke Skywalker costume

Luke Skywalker Costume for Cosplay & Halloween
# Item Description
1 White karate jacket It makes sense to dress Luke like a karate student; after all, he did train himself in the ancient ways of the Jedi and their martial arts. Fortunately, you don’t have to buy a full karategi (typical attire of a student of martial arts) to look like Luke Skywalker in A New Hope. You just need is a karate jacket, preferably made of linen, which is a much lighter and softer fabric, very much alike the one this young Jedi trainee wears. Do not stress if you can’t find one of those, just click on the link to the left.
2 Slim-fit khaki pants For a spot-on Luke costume, you’ll need slim-fit khaki pants like the ones suggested in the link. As another option, any other beige pants will do fine as long as they’re not too baggy.
3 utility belt Being in charge of Uncle Owen’s machinery and robots means Luke has to carry around tools and gadgets to keep them running in good conditions. You may not need to fix robots, but to look more like Luke, you’ll want this brown, leather utility belt. Just make sure to add a little hook to it to hang on your lightsaber.
4 boots covers Here’s the tricky part of your costume. Luke’s boots from A New Hope usually come as iron-on stickers in full-body costumes, so in order to make your own: put on these knitted, knee-high, wool socks and wrap them with beige compression bandage.
5 Beige, slip-on sneakers These beige, slip-on sneakers are perfect to replicate the rest of Luke’s footwear. Remember to tint black the rubber soles.
6 Lightsaber Like every champion of the Light Side of The Force, Luke carries around a blue lightsaber passed down from his father, Anakin Skywalker. You can get a very close imitation of that blue lightsaber clicking in the link next to this description.
7 full costume Of course, there’s always the possibility of ordering the whole costume.

These are all the elements you need to dress-up like the most famous Jedi of all times. Be sure to check some more awesome costumes from Star Wars and many other outfits from your favorite movies, TV shows and games.

Unlike his sister Leia, Luke didn’t grow up with fancy clothes. Instead, he would wear a lighter and more modest attire consisting of a white robe with slim khaki pants, all held together by a handy utility belt made of brown leather. He would also wear beige boots wrapped with some sort of bandage.
