Lapiz Lazuli was a member of the Crystal Gems. But her thousand-year imprisonment changed her personality drastically. She became mistrustful and unyielding to grudges. Newly free, she refused to be pleasant to the other gems.
But with Steven’s constant encouragement and friendship she has come out of her shell and is now more at peace with herself.
