Russell is a loud and hyperactive boy who wants to complete his badges as a Junior Wilderness Explorer. He is fun-loving and innocent but can be high-strung and anxious on occasion. His curious and determined nature reminds Carl of Ellie and that is why the bond together on their adventure.
Rusell is ever ready. He wears a yellow button-down shirt, brown shorts, white crew socks, brown shoes, a yellow cap, an orange scarf, and tons of Junior Wilderness Explorer badges.
About Russell
Rusell was voiced by up-and-coming actor, Jordan Nagai. Nagai was not yet 10-years-old when he landed the role of Russell in Up. He is also known for guest starring in The Simpsons as the voice of Charlie. At 9-years-old, Nagai was the youngest guest star of the series.
