All Twisty wanted was to be loved by kids. He just liked entertaining them and seeing their happy faces. But the jealousy of his co-workers ruined that for him and made him into the monster he is now.
Although Twisty was a kidnapper and murderer, he genuinely believed that he was doing it for the best of the kids in question. His sense of self-righteousness actually makes him a lot more dangerous.
Twisty wears a dirty white clown costume. His deranged-looking prosthetic grin is a mask to hide the fact that he doesn’t have a jaw anymore.
