Frida Kahlo is a renowned Mexican artist and is known for her distinct colorful style. In Coco, the Miguel and his relatives encounter Frida because of her monkey spirit animal. Even after death, Frida is shown to be very passionate about her art and was actually rehearsing a performance for the concert.
