Sara Lance was the first Black Canary in the television series Arrow. She was the younger sister of Laurel (which was the original Black Canary in comics). Sara was a troubled teen growing up and had a hard time living with her sister’s holier than thou attitude. This led her to the tempting arms of Oliver Wood and a messy life of violence and survival ensues.
Unlike her comics counterpart, Black Canary is more covered now but still give off a rough around the edges, sexy vibe. She wears an all-black ensemble which includes a bustier, a leather jacket, leather pants, black boots, and a mask. Here’s everything you need to look like the Black Canary!
About Black Canary
In the recent television series, Arrow, Black Canary is the superhero identity taken by four women during different times. The first Black Canary was Sara Lance who was first portrayed by Jacqueline McInnes Wood in 2012 and was later replaced by Caity Lotz by 2013. Sara Lance was resurrected in the show and now goes by the name White Canary.
