Goomi is the polite little monster from Minions & Monsters: a bright green Cthulhu with a giant round head, tentacles at the mouth and a floppy gray robe. No mask? Use green face and body paint on your face and hands, add a green hood or beanie, and cut a few short tentacles from green felt to glue around your mouth. It's messier, but it's cooler to wear.
Getting the details right
- Be polite. Goomi's gag is that he's small, green and extremely well-mannered right up until he turns on the Minions. Keep your voice polite and calm, and say everyone's name.
- Match the green. The body, hands and feet should all be the same bright leaf green. The mask and suit won't match exactly, so cover any gaps with paint or gloves.
- The robe. Wear the gray robe loose and a little too long, so the hem drags near the floor.
- Hot and stuffy. A latex mask over a morphsuit is warm, so take breaks and drink plenty of water.

About Goomi
Goomi is a small, green, Cthulhu-like monster in Minions & Monsters. His full name is Gary Orkam Oliver Magma Ichabod the Deceiver, and he's voiced by Trey Parker. The Minions free him from a spell book while making a monster movie, and Goomi offers to help them find the perfect monsters for the film. He leads them to a frozen fortress and frees two sea monsters, Howard and Phillips, under false pretenses.
Minions & Monsters was directed by Pierre Coffin and written by Coffin and Brian Lynch. It is the third Minions prequel and takes place in 1927, in Old Hollywood. Universal and Illumination released it in the U.S. on July 1, 2026, and it has grossed about $524 million worldwide.
