The minions are small, yellow, potato-like creatures that first appeared in the film, Despicable Me. They are the very loyal sidekicks of the villain, Gru. Minions have their own language and are usually simple-minded.
They act like toddlers most of the time and their humor is just as shallow as well. However, they are geniuses when it comes to making weapons and using them.
