About Minnie Mouse
Minnie Mouse (full name Minerva Mouse) is Mickey Mouse's girlfriend and one of Disney's oldest and most recognisable characters. She first appeared with Mickey in the 1928 short Steamboat Willie, where she was drawn in the style of a flapper. The design was reworked along with Mickey's in 1940, replacing her hat with the large bow and adding bows to her shoes, and the red polka dot look has been her main outfit since.
Walt Disney himself did her voice at the start, and other voice actors followed. Russi Taylor voiced her for more than thirty years, from 1986 to 2019, and Kaitlyn Robrock took over the role in 2019.
