About Sandy Olsson
Sandy Olsson, portrayed by Olivia Newton-John, is one of the main characters in the most iconic musical teen movie of the 1970s, Grease, which is about friendships romances and adventures that revolve around a group of high school kids in the 1950s. To be specific, the movie follows the relationship of a girl named Sandy and greaser Danny Zuko who fall in love over the summer. Then they unexpectedly discover they're now in the same high school.
Sandy is a very good-natured and soft girl who speaks kindly to everyone. Such a persona prevent her from becoming a member of the Pink Ladies because its leader thought she was "too pure". However, she is accepted as a Pink Lady at the end of the movie, which drastically changes the way she dresses before: from sweet and soft to rock and sexy.
Bad Sandy is the bad girl version of popular Grease character, Sandy. She decides to make a change to her wardrobe and style in order to fit in better with her Greaser boyfriend and friends, because she has become part of their close knit group.
Before this change, Sandy was a good girl transfer student who followed the rules because she had to. With the Greasers, she is finally free to be herself.
