The muses of Olympus acted as the secondary narrators for the film. They introduced the back story of Hercules, and sang tons of the songs in the soundtrack. They were big fans of Hercules and provided tons of comedic relief throughout the film. The muses were also the group who sang the popular ‘Zero to Hero’ that depicts the mighty deeds of Hercules.
About the Muses
Calliope was voiced by Lillias White. Melpomene was voiced by Cheryl Freeman. Terpsichore was voiced by LaChanze. Thalia was voiced by Roz Ryan. Clio was voiced by Vaneese Y. Thomas.
The muses were inspired by the 5 goddesses of arts, and they acted as the chorus for the 1997 Disney film, Hercules.
