During their quest to look for a holy relic, King Arthur and his knights has a whole ensemble with them. Patsy was the king’s servant whose main job was to bang coconuts together to make them sound like galloping horses.

Patsy wears the medieval uniform of the party as well as a huge amount of necessities on his back. He wears a brown long-sleeved shirt, a medieval tunic, brown pants, and a brimming traveler’s backpack with a flag sticking from it. Make sure to bring coconuts, too.

About Patsy

Patsy is a character from the comedy group Monty Python. He is known for being King Arthur’s loyal servant and is often seen banging two coconut halves together to mimic the sound of a horse’s hooves, since King Arthur does not actually have a horse. Patsy’s character provides comic relief and serves as a devoted but often overlooked sidekick to King Arthur throughout the film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”

Patsy was portrayed by Terry Gilliam. Gilliam is also the director of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. He is also known for his work in Brazil, The Brothers Grimm, and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
