Alien is a 1979 science fiction-horror film that’s a classic favorite among fans of the genre. It centers on the Nostromo crew (which Ellen Ripley is a part of) who answers the distress signal from a different planet. However, they are attacked by a rogue alien who invades their ship.
Ellen Ripley & the Alien are sworn enemies as they try to out-survive each other. Ellen Ripley wears the standard USCSS Nostromo uniform which consists of a green shirt, white button down, and grey coveralls with patches. The Alien, or the Xenomorph, is an otherworldly creature with a black skeletal body and a large, oblong-shaped head with wide open jaws.
The focal point of this costume is the alien head part. Then match it with a grey bodysuit that you can paint on to replicate the contours of the alien's body. You can also get a skeleton rib cage, paint it black, and hang it out front for added volume to the costume. Then wear a tail to nail your alien look.

About Ellen Ripley & Alien
Ellen Ripley was portrayed by Sigourney Weaver. Weaver is also known for her roles in Alien: Resurrection, Dana Berrett in Ghostbusters Avatar, and Galaxy Quest.
Alien was portrayed by Bolaji Badejo. Badejo was discovered in a bar by a member of the film crew, when his body frame seemed ideal with what the director wanted for the title creature.
Alien (The Movie) is a film from 1979 directed by Ridley Scott. It is based on the sotry made by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett. The story is about a space crew tug Nostromo who got in contact with the Alien. The said creature was loose on their ship. The alien wreaks havoc and but was then eliminated after dragging out a long battle with the remaining crew.
