Bert is a close friend of Mary Poppins, and can be considered a jack of all trades. He does seem to have a lot of skills. When we met him, he was working as a chimney sweep but he might still look for more jobs after this stint.
Bert is a very bright and jolly person. He always has a smile ready for you and is always energetic. This makes him a really good partner for Mary who, while imaginative and good, can be a bit strict.

About Mary Poppins
Mary Poppins, famously played by Julie Andrews, is the protagonist in one of the most popular films in 1964 Mary Poppins. Bert was played by Dick Van Dyke for the 1964 version of Mary Poppins. He also played the role of Mr. Dawes Jr. for the recent 2018 Mary Poppins film.
