About Will Byers from Stranger Things
Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp,is the MacGuffin of the first season of the hit TV series, ‘Stranger Things’. What this means, is that he is the thing that started the story, and the person that everyone spends the entire season looking for. Without Will, there would be no ‘Stranger Things’.
Will is the character that kickstarts the entire show when he goes missing into a different dimension. The rest of the show, the other characters have to find Will. Through flashbacks, we do find out that he’s a young man from a troubled family life, who maintains his positive outlook in life, his love for his family and friends, despite everything that has happened to him.
Season 2 sees a lot more of Will, as he becomes possessed by a monster from another dimension. It’s in Season 2 that we truly understand how strong and courageous Will is. Always fighting for control of his own body, Will is an immensely powerful and brave young man, for being able to survive all the trauma that he’s experienced throughout the series.
