Vanessa is the human alter-ego of Ursula the Sea Witch when she tries to stop Ariel from making Prince Eric fall for her. She is also the sly and seductive fiancé of the prince when she uses Ariel’s voice to ensnare Eric.
Vanessa is a true lady in the face of others but when alone, her immodest personality comes to surface. She wears a purple dress with a dark purple corset, dark blue shoes, a dark blue cape, and a gold shell necklace.
About Vanessa
Vanessa was voiced by Jodi Benson for the majority of the film, while Pat Carroll contributed towards the end. Benson is also known for her roles in Toy Story 3, Ralph Breaks the Internet, and Enchanted. Carroll is also known for her roles in Freedom Writers, Songcatcher, and Cinderella.
