Dorothy is a young lady that was whisked to a magical land when a cyclone hit her home and sent it spinning away. Her wide-eyed wonder and innocence leads her to befriend many of the inhabitants of the land, including a cowardly lion, a scarecrow, and a tin man.

Dorothy is very much innocent and bubbly. She wears a white puffed-sleeve shirt underneath a blue—green plaid dress, ruffle socks, her iconic sparkly ruby slippers, and she styles her hair in pigtails.

About Dorothy Gale

Dorothy Gale is the main character from The Wizard of Oz. She is introduced as having been raised in Kansas. She and her dog Toto were swept by a Tornado and then they enter another world which is the Land of Oz. She became the best friend of the ruler of that new world, Princess Ozma. She encounters many adventures from the series and is often the heroine of the story.

Dorothy was portrayed by Judy Garland in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. Garland is also known for her roles in A Star Is Born, Judgment at Nuremberg, and Meet Me in St. Louis.
