About Blade
Blade is a 1998 American movie which is a combination of supernatural, superhero, and action. The movie name is also the name of the protagonist Blade, awesomely portrayed by Wesley Snipes. In the story, Blade is the kind of creature called Dhampir or a human with vampire strengths who protects humans from vampires.
The reason blade became a Dhampir is when was his mother giving birth to him, a vampire attacked her, but the doctor was able to save his life. Years and years later, that child grew into a vampire hunter who protects those who can't protect themselves from vampires.
Despite mixed reviews from film critics, Blade became a commercial success by grossing $70 million at the U.S. box office, and $131.2 million worldwide.
