Jane Isabella Lane, voiced by an American actress Wendy Hoopes, is the deuteragonist in a popular 1997 American animated T.V. series Daria, which is the story that follows a smart teenager Daria and her friend, Jane Lane, who try their best to fly low and get through the day in Lawndale High School because they couldn't care less about people around them.
Just like her best friend, Daria, Jane is very sarcastic, witty, and cynical. However, unlike Daria, Jane likes to going out and is more likable. All in all, Daria and Jane are real best friends who always care and treasure each other because they have to go through a lot of things together.
