In the cult classic horror film Donnie Darko the main character, Donnie Darko dresses up in a simple costume of a skeleton full body suit with a gray hoodie over the top. This costume is very simple and fits his moody-don’t care-troubled teenager attitude.
This costume is great because it does count as a horror costume, but it’s not as scary or gory as many others.

Donnie Darko, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, is the leading character in the indie cult classic horror film, Donnie Darko. He appears in the skeleton costume during a scene in the movie when he throws his best friend a college acceptance party.
During the party and after, Donnie is constantly mentally tormented by the antagonist, Frank the Bunny, and needless to say, the events that go down after the party are definitely worth the watch however mind-baffling they are.
