Gilligan and Skipper are good friends and usually find themselves in hilarious situations. Skipper is a confident and superstitious man who is knowledgeable about the sea. Gilligan, on the other hand, is a sensitive and klutzy man who finds himself in funny situations tons of times.
Gilligan’s outfit is fairly simple. He wears a red long-sleeved shirt, blue pants, and a khaki bucket hat. Skipper’s is more sea-themed but equally simple. He wears a blue collared shirt, khaki pants, and a black sea captain’s hat.
About Gilligan’s Island
Gilligan was portrayed by Bob Denver. Denver is also known for his roles in The Many Loved of Dobie Gillis, Dusty’s Trail, Fantasy Island, and The Love Boat.
Skipper was portrayed by Alan Hale Jr.. Hale Jr. is also known for his roles in Hang ‘Em High, The Giant Spider Invasion, It Happens Every Spring, and Fantasy Island.
