About The Wasp
Hope van Dyne or The Wasp, played by Evangeline Lilly, is the supporting character in a 2018 Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp. The movie follows Ant Man and the Wasp, Dr. Hank Pym's daughter Hope van Dyne, who tag team to uncover secrets from their past and fight against the evil threat.
Hope van Dyne is the daughter of Dr. Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne. She's also a board member of the company founded by her father, Pym Technologies. When the CEO of Pym Technologies, Darren Cross, attempted to create and sell a new weapon based on her father's Ant-Man Suit, Hope reunited with her father and Ant Man to stop Cross. After they finally put a stop to Cross' plan, Dr. Pym finally offered van Dyne her mother's suit to become the new holder of the mantle Wasp.
