Jack the Ripper is the infamous serial killer from Whitechapel, London. Although at least 11 killings were said to be done by him, only the five are treated as Ripper killings.
Jack the Ripper’s horrendous way of murdering his victims has earned him a place in crime history’s hall of fame. But the most intriguing thing about Jack the Ripper is no one ever solved his identity (and probably no one ever will).
Jack the Ripper’s real look isn’t known because no one actually caught him. So depictions of him are entirely up to our imagination.

About Jack the Ripper
Jack the Ripper was a mysterious serial killer who was active during the 1880s. His gruesome work has inspired many stories and he himself has risen to legendary status. Despite extensive research, however, people today are still unsure of the Ripper’s real identity and are left with only a hundred theories.
The name ‘Jack the Ripper’ was first discovered in one of the letters that the killer supposedly mailed. However, it is widely believed to be a hoax. Nonetheless, the name sticked.
