About Left Shark
The Left Shark was a scene stealer at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show. He performed with Katy Perry on stage together with another shark. However, while the Right Shark kept dancing to the right moves, the Left Shark stole the show with his flailing and seemingly unrehearsed moves.
After three years, the Left Shark dancers is finally unmasked and answered questions in an interview. Brian Gaw, the dancer behind the infamous shark, shared that he wanted to play around with his 7-foot blue shark character. Perry and her team even proposed to have Left Shark registered as a trademark but was rejected.
