In 1966, It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown was aired on television as a Peanuts Halloween special. And while Linus’ was the protagonist for this special, everybody found Charlie Brown’s misadventures adorably iconic.

For this special, Charlie Brown wore a ghost costume consisting of a white sheet and lots of black holes all around. He is also unlucky enough to get rocks from trick or treating instead of candy. Here’s everything you need to look like Charlie Brown in his Ghost costume.

1 White Fabric For the classic ghost look, use a simple white fabric that can cover your full body from head to toe.
2 Black Paper Roll Instead of actual holes, cut black circles from this paper roll and glue it all over your white fabric.
3 Brown Paper Bag Bring along a brown paper bag as your Charlie Brown trick or treating bag.
4 Black Sharpie Use the sharpie to write Charlie Brown’s funny line on the paper bag. “I got a rock.”
5 Fake Rock Instead of a real rock, use this fake one to store a sweet inside.
