Captain Cutler (Scooby Doo) Costume for Cosplay & Halloween

Captain Cutler and his wife were the ones behind the mystery of the deep sea diver’s ghost in the second episode of Scooby Doo Where Are You.

The gang encounters the mystery when a ghost with glowing green seaweed hanging on him starts to wreck yachts as revenge for his untimely death.

Unfortunately for the Cutlers, these meddling kids saw through their evil schemes and solved the mystery.

Captain Cutler is a childhood ghost that still looks haunting to this day. He only groans and moans, and wears a very old deep sea diver’s uniform, complete with dangling phosphorous seaweed. Here’s everything you need to look like the terrifying Captain Cutler.

How to make Captain Cutler Costume

Captain Cutler Costume for Cosplay & Halloween
# Item Description
1 Vintage Deep Sea Diver’s Helmet No Captain Cutler costume is complete without this vintage deep sea diver’s helmet as it adds to the frightful charm of this nautical ghost. Just remember to wear this carefully to avoid any injuries!
2 Green Coveralls Captain Cutler’s uniform is composed mainly of a green jumpsuit, that looks both utilitarian and scary. Add a few grimy details to make it look extra worn out.
3 Loose Brown Leather Suspenders As a deep sea diver (supposedly!), part of Captain Cutler’s uniform was his safety harnesses. A pair of very loose, brown leather suspenders worn crisscross will mimic this accessory perfectly.
4 Seaweed Boa Captain Cutler’s ghost is well-known for his glowing green seaweed accessories, so this boa will be a great prop. To level it up, try painting it with green glow-in-the-dark paint!
5 Yellow Work Gloves To keep his hands protected from the elements of the sea, Captain Cutler wears a pair of yellow work gloves.
6 Army Green Boots Captain Cutler’s army green boots are worn with his pants tucked inside to avoid water from getting in.
