About Vampirella

Vampirella is a comic book vampire superheroine created by Forrest J. Ackerman and comic book artist Trina Robbins in Warren Publishing’s black-and-white horror comics magazine Vampirella #1. In her first series, Vampirella was an inhabitant of the planet called Drakulon, a creature that had blood instead of water, which gave rise to a race of vampiric Human Aliens. After arriving on Earth, Vampirella devoted herself to fighting evil of all kinds including crimes and out-of-space invasions. Despite being a bloodsucker, Vampirella was falling in love with Adam Van Helsing while trying to avoid the stake of his father, Conrad, who was a vampire hunter.

Vampirella possesses many of the typical powers of mythological vampire such as immortality, super-strength, fast moving, and enhanced senses like super hearing and seeing in the dark. Moreover, she is not prone to the race’s traditional weaknesses, such as daylight, holy water, garlic, or crosses.
