About The Paper Bag Princess
The Paper Bag Princess is a story written by Robert Munsch. The illustrations were done by Michael Martchenko. If you are familiar with the usual princess-and-dragon stereotype, this children's book reversed it. It's a good book for women empowerment. The Princess, Elizabeth, wants to marry a man but a dragon kidnaps the man and burns her clothes leaving her to wear the paper bag. She does on to rescue the man.
