About G.I. Joe
G.I. Joe is an action film series inspired by the line of action figures that represents four of the branches of the U.S. armed forces: U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. The line was introduced to the market and became popular in the American 60s.
In 2009, the first G.I. Joe movie came out and it's called G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra , followed by its sequel in 2013 named G.I. Joe: Retaliation which was less success. The first movie stars Channing Tatum as its protagonist, whereas the second one has Dwayne Johnson or the Rock taking a lead part.
