Ryan Gosling's reluctant science teacher spends Project Hail Mary in a mustard-yellow flight suit, and when the suit comes off, underneath is a white ringer T-shirt with the mission badge on it. This is Grace aboard the Hail Mary: the flight suit, the ringer tee, the glasses and a lot of confused expressions. Mess your hair up a little and grow (or draw) some stubble. He's been in a coma, after all.
The Project Hail Mary shirt
The shirt is the part people ask about. In the film, Grace wears the flight suit over a white ringer tee printed with the mission badge, and you can see it whenever the suit is unzipped. The one linked above is a fan-made version on Etsy with the same black ringer trim and full-size badge on the chest. For a quicker Amazon option, there's this mission badge T-shirt (choose white; it isn't a ringer), or wear a plain white and black ringer tee under the suit so only the trim shows.
His other famous shirt is the red-trimmed "Horse Shoe Bend Auto Club" ringer. Gosling pushed for the film to use jokey T-shirts, as a nod to Val Kilmer's college genius in Real Genius. It's item 3 in the table.
Getting the details right
The suit should be mustard or golden yellow, not bright orange. Most generic astronaut costumes are NASA orange, which reads as a different film. Wear it zipped to the upper chest to show the collar of the tee, or unzip it and tie the sleeves around your waist so the whole badge shows. Grace isn't a soldier or a hero type, so skip the helmet and the aviator sunglasses: glasses, rumpled hair and a slightly worried face are the whole character.

Earthbound Ryland Grace
Before the mission, Grace is a middle school science teacher in cozy layers. His other easy look is the cream cardigan with two foxes that half the internet tried to find after the film came out (item 8), worn under the yellow raincoat (item 9) with straight jeans and sneakers. The costume designers adapted that cardigan from a vintage knit with wolves on it, after Gosling asked for foxes. No striped sweater is linked because the sources don't confirm which one he wears.
