While she lost her husband years ago, this did not stop her from caring and nurturing for her sons Barley and Ian, as a single mom through hard work and determination. Though a warm person, she is also daring, boisterous and fierce, and ever-ready to go on adventures and quests especially if they are for her boys.

Laurel is easily distinguishable with her short blue hair, black cat-eye glasses and small gold earrings. She wears a cream woolen sweater, blue jeans and purple shoes.
