Theodore Jasper Detweiler, or T.J. to his friends, is the friendly leader of the Recess gang. He’s kind-hearted, outgoing, and a great prankster. He cares for everybody on the playground and that’s what makes him a well-loved playmate. T.J. dresses simply in a plain white shirt, loose denim pants, a green jacket, and his beloved red baseball cap.

About TJ Detweiler
Out of all the characters, TJ had the most number of voice actors to play him. He had a total of 4 different actors throughout the show’s stint. The very first one was Ross Malinger, who is also known for his role as Jonah Baldwin in Sleepless in Seattle.
