About Lord Farquaad
Lord Farquaad is a character in the animated films Shrek. He is the main antagonist in the pioneer Shrek film. He is the ruthless and cruel leader of Duloc who wishes to rid his kingdom of Fairytale creatures.
He wishes to solidify his grasp to power by marrying Princess Fiona. She needs to be rescued in her tower guarded by a dragon but in unwilling to rescue her himself so he tasked Shrek to do the work for him.
