About G.I. Jane
G.I. Jane, a 1997 action and drama, is a movie about a woman named Lieutenant Jordan O'Neill, played by Demi Moore, who is hand-picked to enter the test in order to become Secretary of the Navy solely because the position is criticized to not be gender-neutral.
Jordan is being picked by Senator Lillian DeHaven, Anne Bancroft, for the training because she has the most feminine look among the candidates.
Despite her physicality, Jordan receives the same treatment and training as other male counterparts. Yet she thrives and proves to be deserving of the little at last.
