Finn (F-2187) (Star Wars) Costume for Cosplay & Halloween

How to make Finn costume

Finn Costume for Cosplay & Halloween
# Item Description
1 Black, long sleeve, knit t-shirt with a crew-neck For a more accurate costume, we suggest you to use a black, long sleeve, knit t-shirt with a crew-neckline, but you may use a regular black, long-sleeve t-shirt or even one with short sleeves. Either way is fine because you’ll cover it up with a jacket.
2 Black canvas-pants These are black, tapered cut, slim fit canvas pants to be specific, but any black pants will do.
3 Brown leather jacket (racer style) This is the most important part of the outfit. The single, most distinctive piece of clothing in Finn’s apparel is his racer-style, brown leather jacket.
4 Black, slip-on sneakers For die-hard Star Wars fans out there who just want to nail every detail of this costume, we recommend Po-Zu’s white, slip-on ankle sneakers, because those are exact replicas of the ones Finn wears in the movie, only cleaner. On the other hand, if you want to get something close enough to replicas for about half the price, consider the Gracosy slip-on bootsies in the link to your left.
5 Finn Blaster With Strap To top it all off, add this blaster to your outfit. It’s a close copy of the one from the movie and it makes for a good prop you can pose with in your pictures.
6 Deluxe Adult Finn Costume In case you don’t feel like tracking down everything on this list, we have included the link to the full costume, available at Amazon through the link to your left.

So there you have it. Everything you could possibly need to portray The First Order’s most infamous traitor, but also one of the franchise’s most beloved character.

Finn’s Overall Look

In Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, we meet a variety of creatures and brand new characters. Amongst them stands Finn, previously branded as F-2187, a renegade Storm Trooper from the First Order. First time we meet Finn, he is wearing his Storm Trooper armor, but as the story progresses his outfit changes dramatically.

Stranded in the desert of Jakku, Finn has no option but to get rid of his First Order get-up, thus revealing the black long sleeve t-shirt with the black pants every soldier wears underneath their white plating armor. He tries to save his buddy Poe Dameron, but all he finds is the brown, racer-style, leather jacket Poe used to wear.

That’s how the this rebel scum got his iconic look consisting of only a black, long sleeve t-shirt along with some black pants and a very distinctive brown leather jacket with red patches. Granted he’s attire had a bit of a make-over in the most recent Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, but cosplayers remember him best with his outfit from the The Force Awakens.
