Kylo Ren (Star Wars) Costume for Cosplay & Halloween

How to make Kylo Ren Costume

Kylo Ren Costume for Cosplay & Halloween
# Item Description
1 Black, long sleeve t-shirt Any black, long sleeve t-shirt will work for this part of the outfit. For a more loyal imitation of the one Kylo wears, you might to want to consider have some thin ruffling done to the sleeves and punch a hole for your thumb in each cuff.
2 Black pants No need to get picky with this one, just put on a regular pair of black pants and that’s it. Remember they’ll barely show since you’re going to be wearing a long black robe down to your ankles.
3 Black, knee-high, pull-on boots Again, most of this outfit you can easily put together with every-day clothes that you would normally find in your closet. You could order a fairly faithful imitation of Kylo’s black, knee-high, pull-on boots, or you could just slip on your regular black rubber boots for rainy weather.
4 Black gloves Although any pair of black gloves work, leather ones are preferred. For strict cosplayers, we have included to link to Kylo’s gloves.
5 red lightsaber Like the mask, this sword is also key to your costume. We are talking about a 50-inches long, stretchable red lightsaber with sounds and lights. Kylo Ren wields it to throw deadly tantrums and slash his enemies, but you’ll include it as a nice accessory to your outfit.
6 mask and robe set Here’s where it gets interesting. This set includes the short black hooded cape Kylo wears over his mask. It also comes with a long, black robe and a wide waist belt of the same color. Most importantly, it has Kylo Ren’s signature mask, which cannot be missing in your costume.
7 Neck Seal Optional
8 Wig with Scar Tattoo For more authentic look
9 Gloves Belt Scarf You can buy them separately too

Kylo Ren’s Overall Look

Like every other villain in the Star Wars franchise, Kylo Ren covers himself up from head to toe with pitch-black garments to reflect his connection with the Dark Side of The Force and look more like his grandfather Darth Vader.

His sinister attire includes a helmet that is very similar to the one Darth Vader used to wear. A long-sleeve t-shirt under a long black robe held in place with a black wide waist belt. Black gloves and boots and of course, let’s not forget his weapon of choice: a red lightsaber with laser cross-guards. A new feature with a medieval claymore sword feel to it.

If you’re going to join the Dark Side of The Force, you might as well do it in style with this Kylo Ren get-up, but if you’re more of a Jedi, go ahead and check our Jedi outfits from Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker and other wielders of The Force.
