About Kaylee Frye
Kaylee Frye or Kaywinnet Lee Frye, played by Jewel Staite, is a main character in a 2002 sci-fi American series ‘Firefly’. Her character’s an exceptional mechanic and a clever engineer on Serenity. Kaylee becomes the Serenity’s mechanic because she uses her skills to successfully fix the spacecraft after the previous mechanic informed captain Malcolm Reynolds that the ship is unfixable, which has Malcolm really impressed.i
Later, Kaylee forms a romantic relationship with Simon Tam, the Serenity’s doctor, after went through a rocky start where both didn’t seem to enjoy each other’s company at all. To the Serenity’s crew members, Kaylee is known as the ‘heart of Serenity’ because of her kindness and gentle nature.
