Malcolm Reynolds Signature Outfit
Although Firefly is a sci-fi show, its protagonist costume isn’t too out of this world. Mal’s style is simple but memorable simply because of its brown tone, he mostly has a simple brown shirt on topped with a color-matching long trench coat, wears a high-waisted tan trousers, and brownish boots. Just like his outfit, his retro fire gun is also in a golden brown color.

Captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds, played by Nathan Fillion, is the protagonist in a 2002 sci-fi T.V. series called ‘Firely’ which is a story set in the future world about a group of people on a small spaceship who must overcome obstacles as they’re traveling to the unknown parts of the galaxy. The show was created by Joss Whedon, the man who also brought ‘The Avengers’ to its success in 2008.
Despite its short air time, the show had won a number of awards for its spectacular work. Back to Captain Reynold, or best known as Mal, he’s the captain of the Firefly-class transport ship called ‘Serenity.’ His military career for The Independent drove him into many battles against The Alliance, but it was the Battle of Serenity Valley that became his turning point for his side was defeated and so he, along with other travelers, must escape into the galaxy in order to survive. Mal has a high spirit of leadership in him, therefore he’s very protective of his own crew, and he’s also a man of morality and compassion.
