Jack-Jack Parr looks like the one Parr with no powers at all, right up until he has more of them than the rest of the family combined. In the first film he's just the baby Syndrome grabs as leverage โ and who turns out to be able to burst into flames and turn to solid metal on his own. In Incredibles 2 that becomes the whole point of his storyline: while Bob is stuck babysitting, Jack-Jack starts cycling through shapeshifting into a small demon, laser eyes, multiplying into a pack of duplicates, phasing through walls, super strength, growing giant-sized and more, all before he's old enough to walk well. His actual costume is simple on purpose โ a baby supersuit, not a superhero's โ which makes it one of the easiest Incredibles looks to put together for a real baby.

In the film Jack-Jack's supersuit is plain: solid red from neck to ankle, black cuffs at the wrists, and matching black at the collar and the feet, with no cape and no chest emblem on his suit specifically (his parents' and older siblings' suits carry the family's yellow-and-black "i" badge; the licensed baby costume adds a small version of it to his chest too, mostly so he matches the rest of a family group). The one hairstyle note that matters is the single upright tuft on top of his head โ if your baby already has enough hair, a little gel is all it takes; if not, don't fight it, the red suit alone reads as Jack-Jack.
A safety note for babies: the officially licensed headpiece uses a velcro strap under the chin rather than an elastic band, which is the safer of the two designs, but any strap near an infant's face and neck should stay supervised, and it's fine to skip the foam headpiece entirely for a very young baby and let the jumpsuit do the work โ nobody will mistake a baby in a plain red suit with a hair curl for anyone else. The jumpsuit itself is footed with grippy soles, so there's no separate shoe to buy.
Sizing runs from newborn up through toddler; Disguise's infant costumes size small for their age label, so if your baby is between sizes, size up rather than down. For a bigger toddler, a 2T version of the same costume is sized specifically for that age instead of stretching an infant cut.
Budget option: if you'd rather not buy a full costume, a plain red long-sleeve bodysuit with a hooded romper plus the felt eye mask above gets most of the way there for less, minus the "i" emblem and the foam ears.
Grown-Up Jack-Jack (Adult & Teen Cosplay)
Jack-Jack is a baby, but "jack jack incredibles costume" is also searched by teens and adults doing a stylized, grown-up take โ a group costume gag, or just someone who likes the character. The suit scales the same way; you're just filling it out yourself. For this version use items 4 and 5 with the black felt eye mask (item 2).
Skip the shoes and go with black leggings tucked into black sneakers or ankle boots for the cuffed-ankle look, and spike a small section of hair up at the crown with gel for the cowlick โ or clip in a small red hairpiece if your own hair won't hold a point. This isn't an officially licensed adult Jack-Jack costume (Disney doesn't make one, for obvious reasons), so it's a DIY build from plain pieces rather than a single product.
Group and franchise ideas
Jack-Jack is one fifth of a family costume: pair him with Dash for a sibling pairing, or go full Incredibles family group with Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and Violet. Edna Mode, the designer behind every Parr supersuit including Jack-Jack's, makes a fun solo pick for a parent who'd rather not wear red โ see the Edna Mode costume guide.
About Jack-Jack
Jack-Jack Parr is the youngest child of Bob and Helen Parr (Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl) in Disney and Pixar's The Incredibles franchise, directed by Brad Bird. He's voiced by Eli Fucile in The Incredibles (2004), the short film Jack-Jack Attack, and Incredibles 2 (2018). Believed to be the one powerless Parr for most of the first film, Jack-Jack is revealed to have powers when Syndrome kidnaps him and he fights back by turning into a small demon and solid metal. Incredibles 2 built an entire subplot around him: while his father struggles to babysit, Jack-Jack cycles unpredictably through shapeshifting, laser vision, pyrokinesis, self-multiplication, phasing through solid objects, super strength, growing to giant size, levitation, teleportation, and more, eventually squaring off against a raccoon in the backyard.
